Terms of Use

1. Acceptance of Terms

By accessing or using Chumad ("the Service"), you acknowledge that you have read, understood, and agree to be bound by these Terms of Use. If you do not agree to these Terms, you must not access or use the Service.

2. Description of Service

Chumad provides encrypted, ephemeral clipboard-sharing rooms. Content is encrypted entirely within your browser before any transmission takes place. The Service has no technical ability to read, access, or store plaintext content. Rooms self-destruct automatically at the expiry of the time-to-live selected at the time of creation, or earlier upon manual destruction.

3. Permitted Use

You may use Chumad solely for lawful purposes and strictly in accordance with these Terms. You are entirely and solely responsible for all content you transmit through the Service and for any consequences arising from that content.

4. Prohibited Use

You must not use Chumad to transmit, share, or facilitate any content or activity that:

·Is illegal under any applicable local, national, or international law or regulation
·Constitutes, depicts, or facilitates child sexual abuse material (CSAM) or the sexual exploitation of minors in any form
·Promotes, incites, or facilitates terrorism, extremism, or violence against any person or group
·Distributes malware, ransomware, spyware, viruses, or any other malicious code
·Infringes the intellectual property, privacy, or other legal rights of any third party
·Harasses, threatens, defames, or causes harm to any individual
·Facilitates fraud, money laundering, or any other financial crime
·Circumvents security measures or gains unauthorised access to systems or data

Violation of these prohibitions may result in immediate termination of access and may be reported to relevant law enforcement authorities.

5. No Warranties

The Service is provided "as is" and "as available" without warranties of any kind, either express or implied. This includes, without limitation, implied warranties of merchantability, fitness for a particular purpose, title, and non-infringement. We do not warrant that the Service will be uninterrupted, error-free, completely secure, or free of harmful components. You use the Service entirely at your own risk.

6. Limitation of Liability

To the fullest extent permitted by applicable law, Chumad and its operators shall not be liable for any indirect, incidental, special, consequential, exemplary, or punitive damages — including loss of profits, data, goodwill, or other intangible losses — arising from your use of or inability to use the Service, even if advised of the possibility of such damages.

Our total aggregate liability to you for any and all claims arising under or in connection with these Terms shall not exceed the greater of the amount you paid to us in the twelve (12) months preceding the claim or £100 GBP.

7. Indemnification

You agree to indemnify, defend, and hold harmless Chumad and its operators, affiliates, licensors, and service providers from and against any and all claims, liabilities, damages, judgements, awards, losses, costs, and expenses (including reasonable legal fees) arising out of or relating to: (a) your use of the Service; (b) your violation of these Terms; (c) your violation of any applicable law or regulation; or (d) any content you transmit through the Service.

8. Ephemeral Nature & No Data Guarantee

Chumad is designed to be temporary. All room content is deleted automatically upon TTL expiry or manual destruction. We make no guarantee of data availability, retention, or recovery. You must not rely on Chumad as the sole means of storing or transmitting important information.

9. Termination

We reserve the right to suspend or terminate your access to the Service at any time, without prior notice, at our sole discretion — including, without limitation, where we believe you have violated these Terms. Termination does not limit any other rights or remedies we may have.

10. Changes to These Terms

We may revise these Terms at any time by updating this page. The effective date at the top of this page reflects when the current version took effect. Your continued use of the Service after any changes constitutes your acceptance of the revised Terms. It is your responsibility to review these Terms periodically.

11. Governing Law & Jurisdiction

These Terms and any dispute or claim arising out of or in connection with them (including non-contractual disputes or claims) shall be governed by and construed in accordance with the laws of England and Wales. You irrevocably agree to submit to the exclusive jurisdiction of the courts of England and Wales for resolution of any such dispute.
